Jenny McCarthy admitted that she is a "Bachelorette" reject. According to E! News on Jan. 14, McCarthy admitted on "The View" that she had asked to be on the reality romance show but was denied.

According to Jenny, they were not looking for celebrities to appear on "The Bachelorette" and they turned her down. She told Barbara Walters that she had her agent get in touch with ABC back in 2005 with her request.

McCarthy, now 41, explained that she had just gone through a divorce from John Asher. Asher is the father to her son Evan. She said she was lonely and thought maybe she could find love on "The Bachelorette." Unfortunately, they did not want her on the show. Can you imagine though? The ratings would have been pretty good.

In any case, since her long-term romance with Jim Carrey ended, McCarthy has found love again. This time in the arms of Donnie Wahlberg. They seem very happy together and she has even said that she hopes to marry him.
