As far as you and me go, Greg Jennings is young. If he were a dog, he'd be a senior citizen. As NFL players go, he's right in the middle.
Either way, Jennings is sensitive about being called old.
"I'm not old," Jennings told NFL.com in an introductory press conference. "I'm 29. I'm not old. Let me throw that out there. I am 29-years-old, I will not be 30 until well after the league year starts."
Jennings scored a valuable contract for the vikings despite his injury issues last year. The questions relate more to that than his age. Although it is all related. What Jennings needs to do to silence critics is come out and have a healthy productive year. If that happens the "Old" talk will stop.
Regardless of how his career goes from this point forward, his perception in Green Bay has changed from this point on. He chose to go down the same road as Brett Favre, which will cause nothing but hate from the Green Bay faithful.
