By now you’ve heard that in this Sunday’s episode, “Good Form” on “Once Upon A Time” Emma and Hook will share a kiss. Jennifer Morrison who plays Emma recently talked about her character’s relationship with Hook. Enstarz shared her thoughts in an Oct. 25 report.
The kiss comes when Emma becomes so moved over Hook’s involvement in the search for Henry. In Morrison’s words:
"Hook is the one that's present, and he's the one who's surprising her by following through with what he promises to do, and seems to be doing this very selflessly instead of selfishly," Morrison explained. "She's definitely taken aback by how different he is than what she expected and definitely still thinks that [former boyfriend] Neal's [Michael Raymond-James] dead, but in her mind, all of its irrelevant because she's just trying to get to Henry."
It doesn’t look like Emma and Hook are headed for a romance just yet but the kiss is definitely a step in the right direction for the Swan-Hook fans. How does Hook feel about Emma? It’s been clear for some time that he is interested but hard to tell how deep that interest runs. Maybe we will earn more after the kiss.
Emma will also be trying to sort out her relationship with Regina, Henry’s adoptive mother. It’s clear Regina cares deeply for the boy but she’s also tried to kill Emma and her family in the past. How Emma balances this comes down to her ability to connect with the humanity in Regina.
