Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as she attended a screening of her film “Parker” at MOMA, hosted by FilmDistrict, the Cinema Society, L'Oreal Paris and Appleton Estate on January 23, 2013 in New York City.
Ms Lopez, who stars in the role of “Leslie Rogers,” was wearing a lovely white strapless peplum topped dress by Lanvin, teamed with white pointed toe pumps and white clutch bag. Lanvin dress on Lopez was an elegant choice!
She was joined by costar Jason Statham and Director Taylor Hackford, who looked dapper in their dark suits.
Costar and Patti LuPone looked lovely in her LBD (little black dress), teamed with beige pumps.
Also starring Michael Chiklis and Nick Nolte, Parker is about a “hardened professional crimal” (Statham) with a “unique code of professional ethics” who is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Parker then assumes a new disguise and forms an unlikely alliance with a woman on the inside, and looks to hijack the score of the crew's latest heist.
Jennifer began working on Parker right after splitting up with ex-husband Marc Anthony. She told USA Today: “When I did the movie, I had just decided to get divorced myself. I felt in that low place. It was the worst time in my life as well. This character was at the worst point in her life. I had that to use. Thank God I had that to use.”
She added, “It was therapeutic. I know exactly what that feels like. Getting out of bed every day and getting to work is such a job. I’m not the type to do Ambien or wine or pills. When you go to work, you can’t be the person who puts that on everybody. You have to be professional.”
The special screening of Parker was also attended by other costars and A-listers including Micah Hauptman and Annika Marks, Abby Westlake, photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Emma Booth, Sami Gayle, Carson Kressley, Nicky Hilton (loved the leopard skirt!), Hannah Bronfman, designer Nicole Miller, model Tyson Ballou and Alyssa Miller.
