Jennifer Lopez still up for American Idol judge position, despite rumors she was dropped
Earlier reports stated that Jennifer Lopez was being dropped from the running to be a judge on American Idol. But, Gossip Cop claims that the reports are false and that "negotiations are still going with Jennifer," according to their "rock-solid source."
The claims that Jennifer's demands were too much for producers and they got fed up, were also "widely exaggerated", stated Gossip Cop, and there was nothing that was tearing the deal apart.
Jennifer would be taking over the vacancy left by Ellen DeGeneres, who unexpectedly resigned from American Idol last week. Along with Jennifer, another contender for the judge panel is Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, who would be replacing Simon Cowell's spot.
