Jennifer Lopez close to $20 million deal with 'American Idol'

Jennifer Lopez is apparently hot stuff right now, because Page Six is reporting that she's working on a big return contract with American Idol (which airs on Fox 26 in Houston) to the tune of $20 million.  No pun intended.

Of course this means the the other judges want a bigger slice of the American Idol profit pie.  Steven Tyler is in the middle of a two-year contract "worth about $10 million a year".  That's big money to most people, but compared to Lopez's possible $20 mil, it looks like chump change.  And Randy Jackson isn't making anywhere near either of those figures, with PayWizard.org putting him at around $6.5 million per year.  But, no actual figure for Jackson has ever been released, so take that with a grain of salt.

Adding to the huge bill AI foots to stay star-studded is Ryan Seacrest, who gets $15 million a year for hosting the show.
