Professor and host James Lipton will have to wait to interview this Golden Globe best actress winner, but not in the sense that Lawrence thinks she’s too good for this opportunity. “Do you know how much that guy would hate me?” she chuckled of Lipton.
In fact, the humble and quirky actress claims she is too young and doesn’t have enough experience for the show. She revealed, “I love that show but I’m not old enough. I’m not at a place yet where I can look back and think ‘Oh this how I….’ I’m not ready. And, please, I’m an animal.”
When interviewing with Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence continued, “’Tell me about your method?’ There is no method! I never know my lines! He would be horrified.” These are interesting comments coming from the actress who received her second Oscar nomination for her dramatic performance in the film Silver Linings Playbook.
Lawrence is a “goofball,” said Catching Fire producer Nina Jacobson in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “She’s fun and she’s funny. She is the least demanding leading lady ever. Jen’s like ‘Yeah I’ll take half a trailer, whatever, I’ll never be in there anyway.’” The producer continues to mention that she is not spoiled, nor precious, and she’s not needy. This is really a blessing considering the leading lady sets the tone of the production. “If your leading lady isn’t going to be a diva then there really isn’t room for anybody to be a diva,” said Jacobson.
Nevertheless, I’m sure Lipton would not mind a young fresh face on the iconic Bravo series with such a humble approach to the glitz and glam of Hollywood demands.
