Jennifer Lawrence won the best actress award at the 85th annual Academy Awards but while she went up to the Oscars 2013 podium to accept her award, she tripped. This is shown in a photograph by Getty images taken during the broadcast on ABC.
However, this did not shake up this easy, breezy, and very professional thespian. She simply incorporated the misstep in her thank you speech and then went into the gratitude she wanted to share after winning for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."
Meanwhile, JLaw was rocking a very heavy Dior dress that was made from so much material it would take a small army to carry off that look for too long. And so, with that said, it isn't surprising that she wasn't able to smoothly mount those very important steps up to the stage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Sunday.
So did this Jennifer Lawrence trip ruin this fun-loving actress' perfect night?
Hardly. Despite the misstep, Lawrence was all smiles and totally glowing as she walked off with that golden statuette clutched in her hot little hands.
