Jennifer Lawrence to possibly appear at SAG awards despite pneumonia

We recently reported that Jennifer Lawrence has come down with pneumonia recently and might not be able to attend tonight's SAG awards.

According to her 'Silver Linings Playbook' co-star Jacki Weaver, Lawrence hasn't been feeling herself since the Golden Globes Ceremony where Lawrence was awarded Best Actress in a comedy or musical.

"I'm going to receive this on her behalf," Weaver said at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award ceremony at SoHo house. "Poor Jen is really sick. She is really sick. She has pneumonia."

Lawrence, obviously unable to attend, had won the AACTA for Best Actress.

While she had been unable to attend the AACTA, Lawrence is reportedly "trying her best" to make the SAG awards tonight, January 27, 2013. According to "Silver Linings Playbook" producer Bruce Cohen yesterday, Lawrence is indeed going to try her best to attend.

"With all her appearances, she hasn't gotten enough bed rest, but I think her plan is to be at the SAGs tomorrow," Cohen told Us Weekly last night, adding, "I haven't spoken to her recently."

Lawrence is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role alongside Jessica Chastain, Marion Cotillard, Helen Mirren and Naomi Watts.

Make sure to tune in tonight for the SAG awards, January 27, on TNT and TBS at 8 PM EST.
