Jennifer Lawrence may be a famous actress now, but it sounds like some of her research may come from the many shows that her fans watch. In fact, she recently revealed that her Jersey accent was inspired by some of the shows that are currently airing on various channels. According to a new Bravo report published on Dec. 10, Jennifer Lawrence has learned her New Jersey accident from the various reality shows that are filmed in Jersey.
"I can't tell where [the accent] came from because I know that I just started speaking in it and I know that I've been watching a lot of reality TV shows. And a lot of those reality TV shows have a lot of New Jersey women," Lawrence has revealed, adding, "So I can't say it's not from them." Bravo seems to take credit for the comment, hinting that it must have been “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” that Lawrence was inspired by.
However, there are plenty of other shows that are filmed in New Jersey that have nothing to do with Bravo. She could be referring to “Mob Wives” from VH1, which is partially filmed in New Jersey, New York and Staten Island. She could also be referring to “Jersey Shore” or “Long Island Medium.”
