Jennifer Lawrence, of the “Hunger Games,” says she loves junk food. And she totally digs reality shows on television. “At the end of the day there's probably nothing that makes me feel better than junk food and reality TV,” reports Daily Mail about Jennifer, on Monday, Dec. 31. The report comes from an interview published in the January issue of Marie Claire, on sale now.
The actress is best known for comedy, although the “Hunger Games” is anything but funny. When she relaxes, she knows exactly what she wants – a big pizza and her favorite couch in front of the TV. “When I'm out, I think about my couch. Like, ‘It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there's an episode of Dance Moms on. Am I missing a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?’ I'm just stressed by the idea of missing them.”
And she totally refuses to change her junk-food diet for work, even though her Katniss Everdeen character is supposed to be half starved, throughout the planned three-film “Hunger Game” series. No one suggests Jennifer Lawrence should follow the lead of Matthew McConaughey or Anne Hathaway, who have lost serious amounts of weight for recent movie roles. But Katness Everdeen possibly never saw a pizza in her fictional life.
No matter. Hand Jennifer a bow and she becomes Katniss. It all works out. And Jennifer says, “I’d rather look chubby on screen and like a person in real life.” Go for it, Jennifer. The fans are behind you. And keep watching Kim Kardashian. Just skip the “Biggest Loser.”
