Jennifer Lawrence was a big winner, but also had an unfortunate and odd wardrobe malfunction at the SAG Awards Sunday night.
When Jennifer's name was called during the Screen Actors Guild Awards Jan. 27 to receive the lead actress award, her fans were shocked. But it was not because she had won top actress honors, but because her Christian Dior dress unraveled in a very bizarre way.
As the actress stood up form her seat to go to the stage, her dress' hem apparently got caught on a chair. This caused the lining underneath to be exposed, making it look as if the skirt of the dress ripped right across.
To make matters worse, as Jennifer approached the podium, the dress separated again, exposing her upper thighs before she could pull it down again to cover things up. According to CelebTV, the gown is tiered and made up from panels connected to a sheer lining underneath.
However, the dress did not rip, and it was just moved out of place when it got caught on that ill-fated chair.
