On Feb. 23, Jennifer Lawrence attended the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica while wearing a sexy black cocktail dress that showed lots of skin, according to Getty Images.
The "Silver Linings Playbook" star was all gussied up and ready to rock this award show weekend while on the red carpet for this fun event that takes place on the famous Southern California beach every year right before the Oscars bow.
This year, Lawrence was garbed in a backless, sideless halter ensemble by Lanvin that went beyond dramatic. The neckline was embellished with a silver choker that harkened back to Jennifer's days playing Katniss in "The Hunger Games."
That said, the actress is expected to wear another famous designer in Hollywood during the Oscars since she's been named the new face of Miss Dior. Mila Kunis previously held that honor.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence did her bit for high fashion while attending the 2013 Independent Spirits Awards. In fact, this popular thespian looked a lot like Hollywood royalty as she did so, wearing her blonde locks up in a top knot that seemed to double as a crown. Talk about her crowning glory. Both literally and figuratively, this was true for JLa today in Tinseltown.
