As we reported not too long ago, Jennifer Lawrence was announced to have scored a movie role in the film adaption of ‘East of Eden.’
What made the news possibly more exciting than it already was (which, was pretty freaking exciting) that former ‘Hunger Games’ director, Gary Ross, was set to direct that. The two would be reuniting behind the scenes for ‘East of Eden.’
Now, it sounds like that won’t be the last time the two get to work together. Gary Ross is reportedly the director for the movie Hannah Kent’s novel, ‘Burial Rites.’
It’s no surprise that there are a bunch of movie rumors floating around on her future work. Because of the success of Lawrence’s career, she has the ability, now, to pick almost any project. With ‘The Hunger Games’ starting (not quite yet) to wrap up, the cast must look into their future plans as actors.
Lionsgate might even be stepping in to produce the version of ‘Burial Rites.’ The novel is a period “drama-slash-murder-mystery” that is set in 1829 in Iceland.
There is no official word on whether this news is true or not, but we all know that Lawrence and Ross work magic on screen. Can’t wait to find out more.
