Jennifer Lawrence opens up about troubled past

Jennifer Lawrence is on a role. She is winning awards left and right, she's finishing up filming for the second movie in one of the largest film franchises, The Hunger Games, and she everyone is in love with her "no bull-shit" attitude and high confidence in herself. However, it wasn't always that way for Lawrence.

The 22-year old actress opened up in an interview with The Sun that she was bullied throughout her childhood which has helped with her tough outer shell today.

"I changed schools a lot when I wasin elementary school because some girls were mean," Lawrence confessed. "They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn't invited to."

Even with the retelling of her past, Lawrence has to throw a little bit of humor in her story: "I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can," she said. "Don't worry about the bitches. That could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life."

Lawrence went on in the interview to open up about what is like to have a more adult-like status. "As for being a sex symbol, I don't think of myself as sexy and, obviously, it's not true," she said. "I'm going to try to push that out of my mind becuase it makes me queasy."

She goes on to say that even if she is perceived as one, she is normal, just like any of us. "The other day I had pizza for breakfast, buffalo wings for lunch and pizza for dinner," she says. "Probably my favorite food is a potato -- just a potato, because I like fries, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes."

Okay, we get it, the girl likes potatoes.
