Jennifer Lawrence has officially confirmed that the leaked nude pictures of her are authentic. But where can one find those infamous pics? Besides Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Kirsten Dunst have acknowledged that the leaked nude photos are real, reports TMZ on Sept. 1.
Quite interestingly, while Jennifer Lawrence, Upton, Dunst and many of the other celebrities are going to Twitter to express their anger about the leak of the nude photos, that is where one can find them. Celebrity Nude Photo with the Twitter name @HackedCelebNude promises to have the leaked nude pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Krysten Ritter, Lea Michele, Teresa Palmer, Becca Tobin, and many more celebrities.
According to a CBS News report, some of the leaked nude celeb photos on Twitter or other social networks are real, but some of the pictures might also be fake. Reportedly, Twitter is trying to get a handle on the nude photos and is deleting Twitter accounts that are posting the nude celebrity photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian, Rihana, Mary Kate Olsen, Selena Gomez, Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Krysten Ritter, Hope Solo, and many more.
Horror movie actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead lashed out at the hacker on Twitter: "To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves," she said. "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked."
Jennifer Lawrence’s staff issued a statement to TMZ confirming that the photos of her are real. The statement also says that the actress is prosecuting anyone who is continuing to post her nude pictures: “This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
Before Twitter and other social network sites, 4chan was flooded with the nude celebrity pictures after a hacker gained access to them through what is assumed to be Apple’s iCloud, a storage and computing service that allows users to store data such as photos, videos, music and iOS applications on remote computer servers. Apple iCloud’s function as a backup means that anything stored on it remains there.
Even if someone deletes information (such as nude pictures or videos) on a personal device, it still remains available on the server. Users (including Apple iCloud hackers) generally post anonymously to 4chan, an English-language imageboard website, and since no registration is required, the site has been linked to quite a few Internet subcultures and activism. The site's "Random" board, also known as "/b/", was the site's first forum, and it is the one that receives the most traffic.
Jennifer Lawrence confirmed that the nude images of her were originally stolen from her iCloud account, and a 4chan user claims to have hijacked and posted the nude photos of her and several other females onto 4chan. The complete list of all celebrities was posted by the hacker. He or she claims to have more pictures as well as videos. As for now, the safest bet to find them – follow Twitter.
