It's been a month since Jennifer Lawrence's article and cover for Vogue came out, but the young actress' article is still being buzzed about.
In the article, Lawrence explains that she always knew she was going to be in the show business. Whether it be on a television show, or on the big screen, she was destined to be an actress.
"I used to lie in bed and wonder, 'Am I going to be a local TV person? Am I going to be a motivational speaker?'" she said. "It wasn't a vision. But as its kind of happening, you have this buried understanding: Of course.
Lawrence explains in the article that growing up in Kentucky, she never really fit in with those around her. And she was right about her intuition.
When she was fifteen years old, Lawrence left school to pursue acting, and hit it big with her movie "Winter's Bone" (2010).
"Suddenly, I was introduced to this band-new world where I didn't feel like myself," she explains to Vogue on her newly celebrity status. "I was in these weird gowns and listening to people talk about things I didn't understand."
Lawrence explains further that her sudden fame helped her understand her character, Katniss Everdeen, even more.
"And I remember reading in the book and being like, 'Oh, my God, I don't know exactly what it's like to get ready for your death, but I do know what it's like to be almost a puppet. And then when I was making the second film, I had become more acquainted with that world, and I think that's something Katniss experiences. She is different when she comes back."
Catching Fire comes out on November 22.
The world premiere will be in London, England November 11
The US Premiere will be in Los Angeles, California November 18
