Jennifer Lawrence got ‘perverted’ around her celebrity crush

Jennifer Lawrence might be young, but the “Catching Fire” star is full of entertaining tales. A Feb. 6 report by Us Weekly relates one of her wackiest stories yet, which involves the actress turning into a “perverted guy” and stalking “Full House” hottie John Stamos.

Like many “Full House” fans, Jen fell for Uncle Jesse’s full head of Elvis-style hair and the way his butt looked in those tight ‘80s jeans. So of course she was star struck when she spotted him at an event. During an appearance on “Conan,” she said of her awkward encounter, “He was at a party, and I turned into a perverted guy. I was like following him into rooms and staring at his ass. I lost my mind.”

John Stamos wasn’t worried about being stalked by Katniss and later attempted to hold a conversation with Jennifer Lawrence, but that didn’t turn out so well since she was in a butt-induced trance. Jen told Conan, “He asked me if I was on mushrooms and I said, ‘No. I'm dead sober. This is just me.’” How hilarious would it have been if John had asked the “Catching Fire” star if she was on Morphling?

Jennifer Lawrence probably told her tale to Conan hoping that John Stamos would hear it and understand why she was acting like a blathering idiot around him, but John later tweeted that he was “totally oblivious” that she was staring at his butt all night. Perhaps he should have responded with a “Have Mercy!”

Jen does have something in common with one of the “Full House” hunk’s exes. John’s ex-wife Rebecca Romijn played Mystique in the 2000-2006 “X-Men” movies, and Jen endured hours of makeup to become the blue mutant in “X-Men: First Class.” Perhaps “perverted” stalker Jen signed on for the part hoping that John just has a thing for gals covered with scaly blue skin.

She ended up attracting costar Nicholas Hoult instead, but the cute couple recently called it quits. Jen might be single and ready to mingle, but it would definitely be odd to see her hook up with Uncle Jesse since she's a few years younger than the Olsen twins.
