Jennifer Lawrence's Golden Globes date was not a sexy Hollywood actor or a trendy musician. "The Hunger Games" actress walked the red carpet solo -- but she previously admitted that she was bringing both of her parents with her for the big night. On Jan. 13, E! Online reported that Lawrence planned on taking her mom and dad to tonight's show.
"I can bring both my parents, which is amazing. It was originally just a plus-one," she told E! on Saturday. The actress was rumored to be attending the show with her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star, Bradley Cooper (who recently split with his girlfriend, Zoe Saldana). However, he pulled the parent card too, bringing his mom as his date.

She is one of Hollywood's hottest actresses right now and with her career at an amazing high it seems as though everyone wants to know who she is hanging around with -- and who she is or isn't dating. Tonight, however, Jennifer only gave her fans more reasons to love her. Not only did she bring her parents to The Globes, but she was also stunning and elegant -- even though she has the flu!
"I don't want to shake your hand, I have the flu. Sorry!" Lawrence said when Ryan Seacrest offered to help her up to the E! podium.
