Lawrence and Ross are both repped by CAA and previously worked on The Hunger Games adaptation in 2012. Ross did no return to direct the franchise when a deal with Lionsgate and Fox did not work out due to Lawrence’s schedule with Catching Fire and the X-Men: First Class sequel.
