Jennifer Lawrence falls for Dior at the Academy Awards 2013

Actress Jennifer Lawrence hit the red carpet on Sunday for the Academy Awards 2013 in a very delicate Dior Haute Couture design according to Us Weekly.

The "Silver Linings Playbook" actress looked lovely in a pale and voluminous gown which was featured recently by Dior during Paris Fashion Week. The strapless blush colored design included stunning multi-tiered layers at the back and a dramatic train. The fabric had a floral and leaf pattern.

Jennifer kept her accessory elements simple which provided a beautiful balance to the gown. Chopard drop earrrings and a delicate diamond beaded necklace provided a touch of sparkle. She also added a Roger Vivier clutch.

Upon accepting her award for Best Actress Lawrence tumbled up the stairs which many attributed to the awkward nature of her gown. When asked by a reporter what went through her head she had a typical Jennifer Lawrence reply. What went through my head when I fell down? A bad word that I can't say that starts with "F", she said.

Lawrence to me was a suprise win. All indicators suggested that Jessica Chastain would win for "Zero Dark Thirty." After seeing "Silver Linings Playbook" it is easy to understand why she won this big honor.

We love Jennifer, her movie and Dior Haute Couture. All was right in the world on Sunday evening.
