Jennifer Lawrence: Dealing with pneumonia but hopes to be at SAG Awards

Jennifer Lawrence has been a little under the weather. Everyone at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards in Los Angeles found out when Jacki Weaver accepted the award for Jennifer according to Us Weekly on Jan. 26.

Lawrence won the Best Actress trophy for her role in the “Silver Linings Playbook.” Weaver went on to explain that Lawrence had pneumonia and was really sick and she was accepting her award on her behalf.

The producer of “Silver Linings Playbook” Bruce Cohen explained to Us Weekly that she has had a lot of appearances and has not got enough bed rest. Cohen did say he thought her plan was to appear at the SAGs on Sunday.

Lawrence’s role in “Silver Linings Playbook” has already won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Golden Globe. She is also up for the Screen Actor’s Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the SAG Awards. She has also received a second Oscar nomination for Best Actress in film.

Hopefully Jennifer Lawrence will be feeling much better and fans will see her at the SAG Awards tonight at the L.A. Shrine Exposition Center. The SAG Awards will broadcast on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. EST.
