Speculation of a wardrobe malfunction for actress Jennifer Lawrence was reported by Z100 on Jan. 27. The New York music station debunked the wardrobe disrobe of the gown worn by Lawrence who attended the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards over the weekend.
The actress won an award for Best Female Actor for the film, “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Lawrence was shown making her way up the stage with what seemed like the bottom half of her Christian Dior gown becoming detached at thigh length or caught on something to cause a separation; the camera showed the sudden disrobe twice.
According to E!Online, the runway ensemble is a tiered gown that appeared to separate when the actress pulled on it while climbing up to the stage; the sheer lining underneath separated the colored gown giving way to two brief illusions.
The “Hunger Games” star looked great on stage with her tiered gown all in the right places during her appreciation speech after accepting the prestigious award.
How many would have preferred to see her gown transformed to thigh high mini dress? Maybe this is a good idea for Christian Dior to create for future fashion shows. What do you think?
