Jennifer Lawrence bullied? The Oscar winner admits that she was bullied in school growing up and the New York Post reported on March 7 that she changed schools a lot to avoid the confrontations.
Lawrence remembers a time when she was asked to hand out invitations to a party for a girl and then realized she wasn't even invited to it. She did admit to a mantra that helped her get through those tough years of being bullied, a mantra that helped her become the woman she has turned into.
"Don't worry about the bit**es," Lawrence said, "because you come across people like that throughout your life."
Now, while most of the people who bullied her are working mind numbing jobs, fighting to make ends meet, Lawrence is one of the most successful actresses in the world and a freshly minted Oscar winner for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."
Jennifer Lawrence bullied? She refused to sweat the small stuff and moved on to bigger and better things, a strong lesson for kids in schools who believe there is no hope. Next time someone is pushing you around and making you feel like you aren't worth anything, just look to Hollywood. There is a beautiful example of what could lie ahead.
