Both thespians, who star together in "Silver Linings Playbook," have been lauded in this way by the British organization for their fine work in this film.
Yes, this is tradition with BAFTA, a group who annually congratulates luminaries in Los Angeles that the UK arbiters considers the best in filmmaking talent.
Besides Jennifer and Bradley, the invitation-only event also lured such high-profile celebrities as Jacqueline Bisset, Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, and Dev Patel.
But, it was Lawrence and Cooper, both Golden Globe-nominated favorites, who could have won best couple at the BAFTA tea party had there been a competition. "The Hunger Games" star chose a sexy frock by Altuzzara while the "Wedding Crashers" hunk was swathed in a dark Gucci suit with an open necked blue-and-white striped shirt that went well with his startling blue eyes.
To be sure, both entertainers represented to the best of their sartorial ability as Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper joined the celebration, taking tea for the annual BAFTA awards season party in Los Angeles.
And no doubt the hot beverage was welcomed by these honored guests and all the others who attended given how unseasonably cold it was in chilly Tinseltown on Saturday.
