When so many people have difficulty simply eating lunch at an outdoor cafe alone, it says a lot when a celebrity has enough confidence to walk the red carpet solo. That is exactly what 2013 Golden Globe nominee for her incredible performance in "Silver Linings Playbook," Jennifer Lawrence did! Brava to having the confidence to step out alone with the ultimate confidence and self assurance! Many can learn from this 22-year-old superstar!
Lawrence broke up with her long time boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, but that did not stop her from joining the stars at the 2013 Golden Globes without a date. She looked stunning wearing a gorgeous red Dior Haute Couture gown. She was also adorned in Chopard jewelry.
While being interviewed on the red carpet by Ryan Seacrest, Lawrence told the media, "None of it sinks in. It's all such good news that it takes a minute to kind of sink in ... But not denial!"
Many are saying that Jennifer Lawrence is ungrateful about being where she is in the acting world. Despite being one of the most loved and popular actresses right now, she told Vanity Fair Magazine, "Not to sound rude, but acting is stupid." She continued to say, "I'm making movies and it's stupid."
Let's look at this from another perspective instead of the way that many are trying to make Jennifer look; ungrateful and unappreciative of her blessings. Perhaps Jennifer is just saying that all the attention given to actors is unwarranted because they are simply actors and do not deserve any more attention than other professions. Why is making movies and being an actor worthy of such incredibly high pay checks, fame and other accolades? Why is it so much more seemingly admirable and worshiped than most other professions? Thoughts?
