There’s a new viral video that’s making waves on YouTube. It stars the 2013 Oscars’ belle of the ball Jennifer Lawrence and legend Jack Nicholson. On Feb. 26, the video of their meeting topped the 2 million mark, making it the latest Internet sensation.
On Feb. 24, Lawrence sat down with George Stephanopoulos from “Good Morning America” to talk about her Best Actress win after the 2013 Oscars. Right in the middle of their chat, acting legend Jack Nicholson interrupts and says, “You did such a beautiful job. I didn’t mean to cross into your interview, but I had to congratulate you.” Jennifer is star struck and jokes, “You’re being really rude.” The Hollywood heavyweight then adds that Lawrence looks like an old girlfriend. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star flirts and asks sheepishly, “Do I look like a new girlfriend?” Jack pops up yet again; causing Jennifer to ask George, “Is he still here? I need a rear view mirror!”
Jennifer’s backstage banter with Jack was hilarious. This year’s awards season “It Girl” was spot on and showed that she doesn’t take herself too seriously, despite winning an Oscar at the tender age of 22. The sky is the limit for this refreshingly genuine star.
The video of Jennifer’s first meeting with Jack Nicholson has been posted numerous times on YouTube and on Feb. 26, it topped more than 2 million combined views. Plus, it was featured for a second time on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday. It’s definitely gone viral and is now one of the most talked about highlights from the 2013 Oscars. Be sure to check it out, to the left.
The entire “GMA” team was in Tinsel Town this weekend to cover the Oscars. Robin Roberts returned to the red carpet and looked fabulous. During the 2012 Academy Awards, she felt ill and knew something was very wrong. She immediately saw a doctor and was told that she had MDS, a rare blood disorder. She received a bone marrow transplant and took five months off to recover. On Feb. 24, she was simply dazzling on the red carpet and a star in her own right.
