It seems in Hollywood that making an amazing movie, record or sport's accomplishment, is not enough to "make it." Celebrities rely on long-term relationships with endorsement deals.
Although they are all different, they are equally important.
Jennifer Lawrence has finally joined the elite group of celebrities who are receiving eight-figure deals.
The Hollywood Reporter said that once she said that she was in good company with Natalie Portman, Jennifer was finally saying yes to being the face of Miss Dior.
In the latest advertisement for Dior, Lawrence appeared bare-faced in gorgeous photographs. The twenty-three year old actress was photographed with very minimal makeup, in a beautiful coat, and clutching Dior's latest line of handbags. She was photographed by Willy Vanderperre (reported by femalefirst.co.uk).
Her look in this new campaign is very different from her debut one for Dior. In her debut campaign, Lawrence wore tuxedos, and blood red lipstick; a bold look for the beautiful actress. This time she is in a much more bare, calm and relaxed look wearing a wool coat and very little makeup.
Raf Simons, who is the creative director for Christian Dior, has said he was "struck by her youth and her classic beauty as well as her force of character and the complexity she's capable of embodying at such a young age." This reason is the one that led him to ask her to model for the brand says NDTV Good Times.
He sure hit that description of Lawrence on the head. Lawrence is fierce, beautiful and on fire. Congratulations, Jennifer! Cannot wait to see more of your campaign.
