Jennifer Hudson was among many of the celebrities to sing at Michael Jackson’s memorial service. There were several celebrities that spoke and sang to honor and celebrate the life of Michael Jackson.
Jennifer Hudson, who is pregnant, took the stage to sing the beautiful Michael Jackson song “Will You Be There”. Hudson had a group of gospel singers behind her that were also doing a visual interpretation. Behind the stage was a huge screen and at the end of the song, some of the lyrics flashed on the screen that were spoken by the voice of Michael Jackson. Below are some of the passages from “Will You Be There” that appeared on the screen:
In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care?
Will You Be There?
In My Trials
And My Tribulations
Through Our Doubts
And Frustrations
In My Violence
In My Turbulence
Through My Fear
And My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I'll Never Let You Part
For You're Always In My Heart.
Here is a YouTube video of Michael Jackson performing this song. Toward the end of the video you will hear him recite these same words. RIP Michael Jackson.
