There's no doubt Jennifer Hudson's assistant and longtime friend reacted to his boss' generosity in a big way when he found out she had purchased him a very special holiday present this year. His reaction, as seen in an Instagram video from Hudson's account on Jan. 3, shows that this happy fellow literally freaked out when he realized the reality of the situation.
To come by the idea about what she gave and how she conceived the present, Jennifer Hudson may have taken some lessons from her stint as an assistant to Carrie Bradshaw on the first "Sex and the City" movie.
The Oscar-winning singer turned actress played lovelorn Louise, a transplant from St Louis, who was so into designer purses that she used to rent them. So, when her NYC boss, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, gave her an authentic Louis Vuitton handbag for Christmas, well very dear and very pricy present was received with enormous gratitude and then some.
However, the real Jennifer Hudson one upped Parker's Bradshaw by giving an even longer lasting and pricier present to her real life assistant this year. In fact, she bought him a house.
While JHud didn't hand over a house, per se, she did hand over the paperwork that told her employee called Walter that he was about to be the proud owner of a home in his very own name. He went wild with the news which Jennifer Hudson posted along with the message, "My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!"
And so, as Jennifer Hudson gifted her faithful assistant in such an extravagant way, this was a very "Sex and the City" moment for all involved. Happy holidays, Walter. Happy holidays.
