Academy Award winner and former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson stopped by the set of CBS's daytime show The Talk on Monday to chat about her engagement and upcoming wedding.

Hudson is promoting her new book I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down, which was published Jan. 10 on Dutton. Hudson is the current spokesperson for Weight Watchers, having lost over eighty pounds on their program.
The singer/actress talked about her engagement to WWE wrestler David Otunga, and their subsequent "second" engagement. The couple has a two-year-old son, and Hudson is actively planning her wedding.
Earlier in the week, Hudson performed at the BET Honors, held in Washington DC. The awards ceremony recognizes African Americans who have achieved excellence in their fields within entertainment.

In December, JHud paid a visit to the Hub Network's show Majors and Minors to provide mentoring advice to the young performers hoping to score a record deal.
