The movie is beloved by many fans all over the world, and fans are excited to see what Ortega will do with the film.
As Us Magazine reports, Jennifer Grey said of the new Dirty Dancing film via Twitter: "I love @Kennyortega and trust that he will do something special #DirtyDancingRemake. Blown away by all of the love expressed for #DirtyDancing. Makes me want to see it again. So grateful to have been a part of it."
Kenny Ortega directed the documentary film, This Is It, which chronicled the rehearsals that Michael Jackson had it preparation for the tour that he would have launched. As fans will recall, Jennifer Grey was a winner of a recent season of Dancing with the Stars. Fans were thrilled to have the opportunity to tune in and watch the actress compete each week, and to see the progress that was made.
