Former tennis star Jennifer Capriati has been charged with battery and stalking in Palm Beach County, Florida. According to ESPN, she was charged on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, after police said that she punched her ex-boyfriend back on Valentine's Day as he was at a gym simply trying to work out.
According to Palm Beach County court records, Capriati has been issued a summons to appear before a judge on April 17, 2013, on both the stalking and battery charges. She has not been arrested and there is no attorney listed for Capriati.
North Palm Beach police say that her ex-boyfriend Ivan Brennan was working out when the 36-year-old former tennis star approached him and began yelling at him.
Brannan advised police that he tried to leave and get away from Capriati by walking over to the men's locker room. He states that was when Capriati got in his way, blocked his path, and punched him right in the chest.
It goes even further from there.
Brannon continued on and told police that he and Capriati actually broke up back in 2012. He states that she has stalked and harassed him since then.
