Jennifer Aniston turned 45 on Feb. 11. The actress spent her birthday talking with journalist Gloria Steinem in California for The Makers Conference. Meanwhile her beau Justin Theroux, who was with his fiancé last year when she turned 44, was not with her this year. The actor was in New York working on "The Leftovers" for HBO.
According to People, Aniston made a snarky comment about her life while interviewing the activist who helped launch the women's movement in the 1970s.
Jennifer said to Steinem, "The public has a great interest in our personal lives. I know you've come up against this, and I certainly have too."
Then she made her point, saying, "...being a woman and our value and our worth is basically associated with our marital status or whether or not we have procreated."
Since Aniston's marital status is divorced and she has not any children, perhaps she is what Gloria Steinem uttered, "Well, I guess we're in deep sh*t." Steinem, though married, has no children.
Jennifer Aniston agreed as the newly turned 45-year old was in California while her fiancé Justin Theroux is in New York City. And all was right with both their worlds. Go figure.
