"I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and if they're not checked, then I've failed some part of my feminism or my value as a woman because I haven't birthed a child," Aniston told the Today Show Aug. 27. "I've birthed a lot of things, and I feel like I've mothered many things. And I don't feel it's fair to put that pressure on people."

Aniston had previously joked in a Q&A with feminist icon Gloria Steinem that she's "in deep sh*t" because she didn't have a baby by age 45. Steinem, 80, has never children. She was married to Christian Bale's father, David Bale, from 2000 to 2003 before he died of brain cancer.

Separately, Jennifer, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow get together for a brief "Friends" reunion on the Jimmy Kimmel show Aug. 27 in Hollywood (see video).

Cameron Diaz, 41, Said She's Happy Being Child Free

Jennifer previously said she's annoyed that every every time she gains a few pounds, tabloid headlines immediately scream she's pregnant. Other tabloid reports claimed Aniston suffered a miscarriage, but numerous sources said those reports are completely false.

Aniston echoed the sentiments of fellow 40-something beauty, Cameron Diaz, who has never been married or had children. Diaz said she is happy being childfree at 41 and said she doesn't envy her friends who have kids.

Like Cameron, Aniston said she's embracing this part of her life and feels fulfilled by her work, friendships and relationship with Justin Theroux.

Jennifer, who recently completed the ALS ice bucket challenge benefiting the ALS Association, said the stunt was painful but worth it to raise research funds for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

"[The ice bucket challenge] just had all different levels of agony," said Aniston, who credited a low carb diet and yoga for her age-defying beauty. Jennifer has been a yoga devotee for more than 20 years, saying the meditative practice gives her lean muscles and quiets her mind.

The 5-foot-5 Aniston is in fantastic shape, but recently said she wants to lose five pounds to reach her ideal weight of 110 to 113 pounds. Jennifer is reportedly dieting and working out rigorously to get in shape before her upcoming wedding.
