Former Friends' star and actress Jennifer Aniston is turning out to be quite your 'girly-girl'. The star hosts dinner parties for friends full of healthy Mexican cuisine, dreams of being a singer on stage and wants to break into fashion.
Today in Jennifer Aniston news, the star gushes about perusing through self-help books.
In an interview with Parade Magazine, "Love Happens", Aniston said she's always down for a good, self-help read.
"I'm always going to be interested if somebody gives me a self-help book," says the actress in her interview. "I'll at least give it the first couple of pages because sometimes they speak and sometimes they don't." She mysteriously adds, "But they're worth investigating."
Aniston has recently starred in hit on-screen love comedies like "The Break Up", "Marley & Me" and "He's Just Not That Into You" but seems to still be searching for love in the real life. In the meantime, the 40-year-old beauty has no problem embracing the inner-self.
"I say to people who look down their noses at motivational books, ‘Screw them'," Aniston told Parade. "I'm telling you, people have got to mind their own business. It just shows, so obviously, their own fear or resentment. They put down somebody else's choice to sort of make themselves feel superior. They could probably use a little self-help themselves."
And for herself? Aniston has nothing but love.
"I say, ‘Stay positive'," she says. "It doesn't mean that we can get through anything. But we have to recognize that it's fear that sort of sets everything on fire and spreads until everybody kind of gets on the fear bandwagon."
