Jennifer Aniston credits daily cardio and yoga workouts for her age-defying physique at 45.

Aniston confessed she has gained a few pounds since she began dating fiance Justin Theroux because he's such a great cook, but regular workouts keep her weight in check.

"The last couple of years since meeting this man have made me gain a couple extra pounds, but it's all worth it," Jennifer told People. Aniston said Theroux makes a killer pasta carbonara.

Aniston typically follows a low-carb diet that's low in sugar and processed foods.

I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to. I don't starve myself in an extremist way. My advice: just stop eating sh*t every day."

Jennifer, a longtime workout fanatic, has been doing yoga for more than 20 years, saying the meditative practice gives her lean muscles and a quiet mind. "If yoga didn't exist, I'd invent it," she said.

Aniston, who was 30 pounds heavier during her twenties, shed the weight by overhauling her diet and adding yoga and cardio exercise to her workout routine. Her career took off shortly afterward, and has yet to slow down.

In addition to cardio, Aniston does yoga three days a week with her longtime BFF and yoga teacher, Mandy Ingber. In an exclusive interview, Mandy told me said she and Jennifer combine cardio and toning exercises into their workouts.

"We meet up about three times a week, and our sessions are 60 to 90 minutes," said Ingber. "We incorporate cardio and toners into the yoga sessions, much like I do in my Yogalosophy DVD. It's always a pleasure to work out with her."

Aniston, a rep for Aveeno skincare products, said her beauty secrets include daily cleansing, moisturizer and sunscreen. When asked what her weirdest beauty regimen was, Jennifer laughs.

"It was a derma-roller," she said. "Google it — it's great. It's like a little wheel that has little pins, like acupuncture needles in a way, and you roll it and it stimulates your collagen and it also allows for your products to seep into your skin."

While Aniston looks incredible for any age, she gets annoyed by the neurotic preoccupation society and the media have with getting older. “Women and men today in their 40s are so much healthier than they were 30 years ago," she said. "We know how to take care ourselves."
