Jennifer Aniston embraces getting older and said she feels better at 45 than she did at 25.
"I feel just as youthful now — if not more — than I did when I was 25," Aniston told Parade. "I’m more in my body; I’m more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful.”
Surprisingly, Jennifer said her thirties were an awkward time. Looking back, she said she worried too much and didn't count her blessings.
[Worrying] started in my 30s, my awkward phase. I’m a little bit of a late bloomer! But it doesn’t matter to me because it just gets better. They do say youth is wasted on the young."
Of course, it's easy to feel great about yourself when you're as fit as Aniston, who works out every day, doing a combination of Yogalosophy, running, spinning and Pilates.
Jennifer, who has done yoga for over 20 years, has said yoga "prepares you for everything." Aniston is a longtime follower of the low-carb Zone Diet. "I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to," she said. "I don’t starve myself in an extremist way."
Aniston, who's known for her amazing hair, said her beauty routine is very low-maintenance, and involves sunscreen, moisturizer and careful skincare.
"The beauty routine is the same: I wash my face, I brush my teeth, and I jump in the shower," said Jennifer. "And I put on sunscreen and no makeup. I usually put my jeans on and a T-shirt. Very casual.”
Aniston said she feels her most beautiful when she's hanging out at home with fiance Justin Theroux. As she looks ahead, Jennifer feels grateful and optimistic.
“My life is so fantastic," she said. "I’m so happy. There are a lot of exciting things that I’m excited about doing. I’m grateful for my fans. I just hope I keep doing work that they love.”
