An unprovoked Joan Collins decided to take a potshot at Jennifer Aniston saying that she is: "cute, but I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's no Ava [Gardner] or Lana [Turner]." No one knows why Collins lashed out at Aniston, could be that Aniston's star is sky high and that Collins star has faded away into obscurity, but one can only speculate.
E! Online reports that Jennifer Aniston has decided to stay classy and has taken the high road by not responding to Collins attack on her beauty.
Aniston's rep said that they are "aware" of Collins rude comments about the 'Friends' actress, and that there was ""no need to engage with that nonsense." We wouldn't expect anything less from Aniston; she has always been a class act when it comes to mudslinging. Looks like Collins is going to have to regain her 15 minutes of fame by attacking someone else.
Collins has gone on to slam every actress in Hollywood saying that: "I have to say, there aren't that many good-looking actresses around today. I mean, there's Angelina Jolie and there's... Angelina Jolie."

I wouldn't say Aniston's career is "sky high." A lot of her movies are flops. I think Joan's right about her looks. She's attractive, but not beautiful.
Not only is Jennifer Aniston, in my opinion, the most beautiful actress in Hollywood, but this is just another example of how she is beautiful on the inside as well. It seems she is a great person in every way. I love the fact that she won't engage in the mudslinging bull that makes people look small and imature. Love ya Jen!!! :)
I completely agree with Joan. She definitely wasn't out of line with her comment about Jennifer Aniston being just cute, but not beautiful. We all knew that the day Brad Pitt chose to be with Angelina Jolie. Joan was just being honest. Let's face up to the truth...Jennifer Aniston wouldn't even be a movie star today if it wasn't for the fact that she had been a part of the love triangle with two of the most popular A-list celebrities in the world today.

It seems Ms. Collins is living up to her past reputation as not being nice. One would think that she would aspire to a higher level of decency but guess not. The attacks on Jennifer's ability and her character are unjustified and unwarranted. Jennifer has achieved her great success on her own merits. Ms Collins should aspire to a higher level of that as Betty White who seems to be reaching higher levels at her age. So Ms. Collins try to improve your character and move on.

She was hooking up with her own brother
She had slept with her mother's boyfriend
She wrecked many marriages and engagements
She did at least 2 suicide attempts
She is also said that she is taking drugs and personally i believe that cause she has that cuchoo look sometimes
She was hooking with other women
Had several kids just to make sure that Brad Pitt won't get back to Aniston.

To be fair to Joan she did say Jen was cute and that is complimentary. How many girls are called cute and are considered good looking. Joan also said not beautiful like Lana Turner or Ava Gardner. Those girls are EXTREMELY beautiful. Not even sure Marilyn Monroe would be in that league. Christina Aguilera if you seen her in videos like Candy Man would not be in that league either but she is incredibly good looking. So Joan says Jen is not in the league of Turner/Gardner. Maybe Liz Taylor is but there are many very beautiful girls who aren't. So try not to be too hard on Joan. In fact Joan isn't in that league either.
Your comment is fair and I appreciate that. It seems the media wants to take any comment made about Jennifer and twist it into something totally absurd. It just seems weird that out of the blue Joan Collins decided to make comments regarding Jennfier. This is not about a beauty contest . Lets say all the woman mentioned are, or were beautiful. We, Jennifer's fans don't want ugly, disparaging comments made about Jennifer since we take it to heart and totally disapprove of these comments.
