Jennie Garth has gone social media crazy over new crush Michael Shimbo. And Michael Shimbo is probably pleased because he's a media mogul of sorts who is at the helm of the San Francisco-based firm behind the travel show called "Planes, Trains and Automobiles."
According to Us magazine on Sept. 6, the newly divorced Garth met the handsome and apparently successful Shimbo through a mutual friend. And now this hottie is almost all the "Beverly Hills 90210" star can talk about, at least online.
A recent Instagram from Jennie Garth showed a picture of the hunky businessman with the caption, "I mean...@shimbo #luckylady (sic)." While obtuse in the way she conveyed her feelings about her man, the Hollywood actress was successful in being transparent to anyone accustomed to social media speak.
After showing off her new flame, Jenny was hit with follower's opinions, a few of which likened Shimbo to Jason Priestley, Garth's "90210" co-star from the 1990s when her character called Kelly Taylor was sometimes into his character called Brandon Walsh. In fact, he was one of the guys who tried to win her heart over and over again, at times winning and at times losing.
Meanwhile, the woman who is Jennie Garth is obviously moving on after her devastating split from husband Peter Facinelli. The pair were wed for more than a decade after getting to know each other when filming "An Unfinished Affair." Garth and Facinelli eventually had three daughters together called Luca, Lolo and Fiona.
As she has admitted to the media, Jennie's breakup with her long-term husband was tough on the thespian, who lost a lot of weight while getting over this huge life change.
That said, congratulations are now in order for a very happy Jennie Garth, a female who is going gaga over her new beau Michael Shimbo. And well she should behave this way. In a word, he's hot.
