Jenna Coray was crowned Miss Rexburg 2013, the Miss Idaho Organization announced March 10 on Twitter.
The crowning qualifies her to enter the Miss Idaho Pageant. If she wins the state title, she will represent Idaho in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City.
She is a member of the Brigham University – Idaho Class of 2014, according to her Facebook profile.
Her hometown is Rexburg.
In 2009, Coray represented Eastern Idaho at the state pageant. Her platform was “Reach out and Make a Difference: Promoting Service and Gratitude.” Her talent was playing the violin.
If she is crowned at the state pageant, she will become the fourth Rexburg resident to wear the Miss Idaho Pageant.
Other state winners from Rexburg were Miss Idaho 2006 Katherine Crouch, Miss Idaho 1985 Nanette South and Miss Idaho 1983 Elaine Pack.
The highest-placing Idaho resident at a Miss America Pageant is Miss Idaho 1971 Karen Herd, who was named first runner-up at the Miss America Pageant.
Idaho contestants who have finished as semifinalists in the national pageant are Miss Idaho 1960 Marlene Coleman and Miss Idaho 1939 Louise Fletchner.
