In a recent extras video Jenna Mourey of Youtube channel Jenna Marbles addressed articles speculating about her earnings.

The Youtube star said that she had a Twitter follower ask her why she doesn’t buy a house in Los Angeles when she Tweeted complaints about her bad plumbing situation at her current rental house.

“Somebody said to me on Twitter why don’t you just fucking take you’re Google money and buy a house,” said Mourey. “And do you know how much houses cost in L.A.? It’s outrageous.”

She went on to talk about articles she had seen like this one speculating her earnings to be in the millions of dollars.

Examiner article “How much is your favorite Youtube personality making” listed the annual earnings of Jenna Mourey at about $4.3 million making her the sixth highest paid personality of Youtube.

“I don’t know how much money you guys think I make, but whatever you read on the internet is outrageously inflated so you click on that link and read it,” said Mourey. “Not to mention most of us fucking have companies and cut ourselves a paycheck like every other person, and it’s not that easy to go out and buy a bazillion dollar house.”

It is still unclear what a “paycheck like every other person” would be worth to Mourey, but she says that she doesn’t see all that money.

“It’s a little bit different than what you guys might think,” Mourey concluded.

You can see this Wednesday released video yourself entitled “Fuck This House: Unplanned Extras” here.

Mourey has recently gotten attention from people outside the Youtube spectrum having won the Young Hollywood Award July 27th.

The Boston native went on to talk about the bad luck she has picking rental properties. She has had to have a previous apartment fumigated. She has had trouble with her neighbors, and she once had a fire. She now says that she has cockroaches and sewage backup at the rental house she is currently staying at in Los Angeles.
