Jenna Jameson learned the hard way that one cannot get away with battery. According to an April 7 E! News report, Jameson was arrested for misdemeanor battery after getting into a physical altercation before her birthday party.
After receiving a report from the alleged victim, who claims to have been struck by Jameson, police arrested and booked the adult movie star, and later released. The Newport Beach Police Department authorities confirmed to E! News, that the star was arrested.
TMZ reports that the victim reportedly placed Jameson under citizen's arrest and subsequently “flagged down a police officer.” This may not have been the idea of a happy birthday for the 38 year-old star, who was supposed to attend an early birthday party at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim later that night to celebrate her April 9th birthday.
Earlier in the day, Jameson was full of excitement and anticipation for her 39th birthday celebration.
While this arrest may have put a damper on celebrations, this is not the first time Jameson has been arrested. Last year she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after her car hit a pole in Orange County.
