Jenna Jameson was arrested for an alleged battery this weekend according to TMZ on April 7. Jenna was at Newport Beach, California this weekend celebrating her birthday. The alleged assault happened around 8 p.m. near the Balboa Peninsula.
A source told TMZ that "the alleged victim put Jameson under citizen's arrest and then flagged down a police officer. The cop arrived and cited Jenna for battery. She was later released".
The name of the alleged victim has not been identified nor has a motive as to why there was an altercation.
Jenna loves being a birthday girl because apparently she has been celebrating since March 23 although her birthday is not until April 9. She was partying in Las Vegas last month for her birthday!
Jenna was arrested last year for a DUI according to TMZ. Her decision to drive under the influence fortunately did not kill anyone. She did crash into a light pole. She received three years of informal probation and had to pay a $340 fine. She was also court ordered to participate in a Mothers Against Drunk Driving "victims' impact panel".
