Jenelle Evans and the cast of Teen Mom 2 were seen in the first episode of season five on Tuesday night and hours earlier, Jenelle hinted at a sixth season for the series.

"Nathan is getting mic'd up as usual … Lol more Teen Mom coming yr way," Jenelle wrote on Instagram on January 21.

Since the cast reportedly wrapped filming on season five in October or November and recently shot the season five reunion show in New York City, it doesn't seem to make sense that Nathan would be getting mic'd for season five. Instead, he appears to be working on something new.

However, what it could be is a bit of a mystery.

Since Jenelle is currently expecting her second child, it makes sense that MTV would continue to document her life, but in addition to a possible season six, there is also a possibility that it could be some sort of catch up special. After all, that is how MTV ended the original Teen Mom.

Either way, fans will be seeing more of Jenelle Evans in one way or another, and seeing her currently pregnancy as well, which they won't see during the currently airing season of the show.

In December, just one month after wrapping season five, Jenelle revealed that she and her boyfriend Nathan were expecting a baby. According to reports, the baby is due in June.
