Although Nathan was working at the Wynn Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when he and Jenelle first met, he later quit his job and began training to be an MMA fighter. At this point, it is unclear if Nathan is working or training, but his pregnant girlfriend seems to be doing just fine for herself.
In addition to starring in "Teen Mom 2," which she is certainly paid for, Jenelle has recently launched a website for "Teen Mom" news on which she and two other writers report on the latest news and gossip about herself and her co-stars.
Since Nathan is also on the show, he receives a guest star check, which has been reported to be around $15,000 per season. So although he may not have a job, he did recently get a lump sum of money, which could have been how he paid for Jenelle's new car.
"Thank u for buying me such a big present," Jenelle tweeted to Nathan a short time after she received her gift. "I love it. It looks so f**king beautiful in our driveway."
According to a Wetpaint Entertainment report on March 24, Jenelle revealed that her car is fully electric which means it could likely only be one of two things -- a Tesla or a Nissan Leaf. But since Teslas cost around $60K and the Nissans range around $20K, it's much more likely that Jenelle is behind the wheel of a Leaf.
"I love him so much, omg!" Jenelle continued on Twitter of her vehicle. "No one has ever done something this nice for me."
