Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers claim to have known each other for years and years prior to their December 4th marriage. However, a new report is bringing attention to not only how they met but why they really got married to begin with.
A January 3rd report by The Ashleys RR claims that the Teen Mom 2 star and her new husband were actually introduced by their mutual drug dealer. On top of that, their source, who claims to be a friend of Jenelle's, says that they met right before they began dating this past October -- a far cry from what Jenelle has been telling fans.
Just over two months of dating later, the two were married, but it wasn't planned. Courtland just happened to be at the courthouse earlier that morning where he was charged with a felony and according to the friend, that was the main reason they wed.
"They got married because Courtland has a court date on the third and Jenelle would have to testify against him if they weren’t married," the friend explained. Spousal Testimonial Privilege may be granted in the case which would keep Jenelle from having to take the stand, but some have said that since the crime occurred prior to the marriage it would be negated.
For Jenelle's part, she still claims to have know her husband for several years prior to their marriage and insists that she does not abuse drugs.
