Jelly Belly is introducing us to their latest flavor a beer flavored called Draft Beer Jelly Beans. The company which is headquartered in California and has a distribution center in Pleasant Prairie, WI just south of Milwaukee is known for their usual flavors of jelly beans.
The new flavor has a gold, jewel-like finish for a fresh from the tap "bubbly" look, and the candy is flavored after a German Hefeweizen, with a wheat taste and a slightly "yeasty" smell, according to the Los Angeles Times.
According to Jelly Belly customers have been requesting a beer flavored Jelly bean for decades. It took them a few years to perfect but now the beer flavor beans can be purchased along with other cocktail-inspired flavors such as pina colada and strawberry daiquiri. None of these flavors contain any alcohol.
The Jelly Beans are gluten-free, dairy free, fat-free, and vegetarian friendly and can be purchased on the Jelly Belly Web site here. These sell out quickly but Jelly Belly will let you know what day they will be available again. They are available in a 16 oz. bag and a 10 lb. case. There is also a store locater available on the site to find out where the Jelly Beans are sold.
While visiting the Web site be sure to check out the other unique flavors and gift ideas for holidays, weddings and special occasions. You can also learn about taking a tour of the Jelly Belly locations in California and Wisconsin.
