This is the 22nd Anniversary of Jeffrey fashion Cares and Atlantans are already prepping for the Fete that kicks off the fall social season. The one night only extravaganza is financially the largest third party philanthropic event in Atlanta. Last year’s show raised more than $700, 000 for Susan G. Komen for The Cure-Greater Atlanta Affiliate and Atlanta AIDS Fund. The 2014 Jeffrey Fashion Cares, gives attendees plenty of opportunities to be generous and support two great causes.
The party includes a pre-show cocktail party, a silent auction, live auction and the most anticipated fashion show of the year featuring high-end looks from Jeffrey Boutique. The runway will include pieces by Celine, Lanvin, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent Paris, Givenchy and more. Museum of Design in Atlanta hosts Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair
To introduce the dazzling fall exhibition Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair Museum of Design in Atlanta is hosting preview gala to celebrate the anticipated highly anticipated exhibit. The gala takes place on October 17, 2014 and will be attended by Linda Rice Johnson, chairwoman of Johnson Publishing and daughter of Eunice Johnson, founder of Ebony Fashion Fair. Guests attending the event will enjoy food, music and a first look at Inspiring Beauty before it opens to the public on October 19, 2014.
Organized by the Chicago History Museum Inspiring beauty is a retrospective the history of the Ebony Fashion Fair and how it redefined the concept of beauty, style and empowerment or African-Americans.
