Jeffrey Fashion Cares Atlanta is the ultimate charitable and social event. Jeffrey Kalinsky is the founder of the remarkable event and he has managed for over 20 years now to successfully combine charitable donating with incredible fashions. This event benefits two outstanding charities- The Susan G. Komen for the Cure- Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta Aids Fund (AAF). The event included a pre-reception, an auction, and a hot runway show. Plus, the red carpet was the ideal place to show off the hottest accessory of the evening- shoes!
On Monday, August 26, 2013 at the American Cancer Society Center in the heart of downtown Atlanta attendees for this year's event were welcomed graciously with magazines from Jezebel and Vogue. Next, they were treated to a glamourous walk down the red carpet along with a silent purse auction during the pre- reception.
The red carpet was blazing with red hot shoe looks from some of Atlanta local celebrities, political representatives, designers, community members, business leaders, and socialites. Rather a celebrity or community activist the goal was the same for all in attendance. The mission was to raise funds for the charities. Fortunately, the well-heeled guests showed off their hot shoe looks on the red carpet and willingly donated generously to the selected charities. The evening was a fashionable and charitable success and the slideshow gives you a little inside look at some of the red hot shoe looks from guests wearing designers like Prada and Vera Wang.
